Seriously! What do you do when you don’t feel like exercising? Scores of people have solutions, but not many know the actual problem. I wish that I could give you a definite answer. Until I get to know you on a personal level, I can only give you what I know about exercise motivation.

What I Do For Exercise Motivation

 Whenever I don’t feel like working out I go to a few motivators:
  1. Music – If I get an earful of my favorite tunes, then I’m raring to go in minutes
  2. Movie/show – When I watch an episode of one of my favorite shows (i.e. Spartacus), I’m ready to kick some ass in the gym. Works even at 2 or 3 a.m.
  3. Try it for five minutes – This option is my last resort when I’m unmotivated. I know that I need to workout, but why should I if I don’t feel like it? Sometimes I take five minutes, and it’s a rare occasion that I stop after that time. It may be a shorter workout than normal, but I get it in nonetheless.
